Hello and best wishes to you!

This is a special day in China. Today family get together and have a good time. It is known as Mid-Autumn Festival, which is one of the important traditional festivals. According to the Chinese Lunar Calendar the day falls on the 15th of August, which is at the end of September or the beginning of October. On the day there's always a full moon (what we say 'a round moon' in Chinese) and people often eat fruit and moon cakes as a major part of the celebration. A moon cake is something like a pie, a thick pie with fillings in the middle. And there are also characters of some best wishes and patterns on the cake.
